Banning Illegal Signs by Banning Trailers?
The battle against ugly, illegal signs clogging our local streets continues. There seems to be some kind of bureaucratic resistance to enforcing the ordinances against off-site signs and billboards. In the meantime, we are beginning to see more of these signs prohibiting parking the trailers that are used to support the things. The signs don't always work, of course. The day I took this photo, there were two trailer-mounted signs, one for Subway (time to eat at Quizno's instead) and one for Sears (apparently I'm going to WalMart), parked in the no parking zone on Devonshire, near Mason.
